The terms & conditions for the transfer are monitored by an
independent 3rd party legal entity.

This legal entity, usually a law firm, acts on behalf of the

The assets, usually securities in return for currency, will be
put and are held in escrow until both parties agree to proceed
with the exchange.

As soon as both parties agree to proceed with the exchange,
the assets are directly released into the client’s account.
