Peston & Sons Securities announced today that Haing Jung will join the firm as a Managing Director. Peston & Sons Securities will draw on Mr. Jung’s knowledge, global relationships and industry leadership to help the firm in a variety of ways. His principal focus will be on enhancing relationships with chief executives and senior business leaders, particularly in Southeast Asia and Europe. He will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Mr. Jung was previously Vice Chairman of a renowned European investment bank.

PestonandSons Securities appoints Gerald G. Tanemura

Peston & Sons Securities announced today that Gerald G. Tanemura will join the firm as a managing director and head of the firm’s Trading and Investment Derivatives Group. He will work closely with Wah Yng, who has announced his decision to to retire from the firm later this year, to effect a smooth management transition.

Gerald comes to Peston & Sons Securities from a top Bank in Hong Kong, where he built and headed their global credit derivatives effort. Prior to his tenure in the bank spent 11 years at an investment company where he ran the structured private placement business in Tokyo and then co-headed European Fixed Income Derivatives in London.
