WHO WE ARE

We have advisory powers only and are not a regulatory body

with any jurisdiction over nation states, especially within Japan.

AEDRIA currently has 360 employees,
of which 150 are research staff. Among AEDRIA
researchers, there are 123 research professors,
181 associate research professors. AEDRIA also
has more than 20 honorary professors and
distinguished professors, we are one of the
worlds largest think tanks and are remarkable
by our integration of the Japanese and Chinese
experts in a progressive movement embracing
business, academic and voluntary organizations
in the Asia Pacific area.

Established as a response to the 2016 Ise-Shima
Principles from the group of 8 countries and based
in Asia at our Japan head office.

We are funded and supported by the World Bank Group,
and particular the AIIB and NDB and ADB which has
50 years of multilateral cooperation and financing
of infrastructure projects and we are United Nation
observers. We believe by working together to
support the emerging nations of the globe we
can include their people in a world hitherto
denied them by the traditional system. We are
interested in optimizing the resources we have
which is our growing economies and populations
for an interest of all the global economies.

BRIC’s is the umbrella group which initiated us
and we have a presence at both the Group of 20,
and its group of 8 and group of 30 and provide
impartial advice as well as guidance, research
and support to our emerging projects.

At AEDRIA our aim is to include and unite
everyone from developed and emerging nation
states irrespective of their race culture or
economic condition and is represented in our
5 year plan.
